Rina Peleg crosses the border of traditional pottery. She has developed a unique technique employing unusual processes to suit her creative agenda; weaving clay disguised as `reeds`, ceramic axes with handles from baseball bats and constructed vessels camouflaged with comics. Rina makes conventional decoration contemporary and includes ready mades and decorative elements whereby the ancient craft is integrated into post modernist culture combining old and new, material and weightlessness, classical craft and The Flintstones.
